Week 5 - October's last!

This is it folks! Week 5 - October's last giveaway. I know it's a sad sad time right now... but chin up! We do not have much going on in November as of yet, but I'm not only hoping to have something great near the end of the month... but I'm also going to try to get something awesome for all of December! Don't get your hopes up... the holiday season is upon us and that usually means people are a tad bit too busy to throw in free treasures...but I will try my best!
So, THE WINNERS!! As you know, 3 winners were selected for the last giveaway. Everyone, take a moment to congratulate Serena, Katy and Samantha! They have been notified and items should be shipping any day!

So.... ready for this giveaway? I'm really excited. There are some REALLY cute prizes to win!

Two winners will be selected for this week. Let's check out the prizes and move on to the rules.

Frankenstein In Love

Each winner is going to get one 8x10 acrylic
painting of Frankenstein and his bride.
Donated by Spookyville Boutique

Zipper Pouch

Each winner will get this great zipper pouch!

Super cute t-shirt!

Each winner will get one of these super adorable t-shirts! Yes, this image is low quality, but
that's fault and doesnt make it less cute!
Donated by Sewing by Megan

Frankenstein Plush

Each winner will get one of these adorable plushies! I seriously love this so much.
Donated by Telahmarie

Winners will also receive one Victorian Cameo Choker, featuring (duh) Frankenstein. I do not have a picture, but it is really sooo pretty! It will be donated by Necromidian

So how do you enter? Well, I have decided to make it SOOO simple this time! There are only THREE entries, so if you want a really good chance at winning, you better take them all.

How to Enter:

1. Either follow via GFC (to the right) or become a subscriber by email.

2. Like my page BY CLICKING HERE

3. Leave me a comment tell me what your best Halloween costume ever was

1 & 2 will be verified if they are the chosen entries.

This contest is open to US residents only.

Contest runs from 10/24 to 10/31.

My best halloween costume was probably when I went as hermione (back in the sorcerer's stone times) and I actually really looked like her. I dyed my hair and my mom and grandma made my costume. It was the most effort i've ever put into a costume. (: Haha. But the award of best costume i've ever seen is a tie between the couple costume of an outlet and a plug and a snow globe. They were both adorable! Haha okay long post. I'm done now. I hope I win, these items are so fun!

My best halloween costume would definitely have to be going as C-3PO when i was 5. some other good costumes i saw when trick o treating was a girl going as samara from the ring and this was when it first came out and almost no one had that idea so that was really cool. i also saw sweeney todd as well which was amazing.

I loved this dalmatian puppy costume my mom made for me. We didn't have much money growing up so my mom did the best to give us a Halloween costume. My puppy costume consisted of pigtails, black dots on my face and a polka dotted dress.

My best Halloween costume had to be the one my mother made me when I was in elementary school. I went as a kid being kidnapped by an alien. It was one of those illusion costumes so it looked like I was the kid being kidnapped, but my feet were the alien's feet. My mom made it happen by making a long black robe for the alien's body and painted a gourd to be the alien's head with an apparatus made out of PVC pipes so the head would sit on my shoulders and make the alien look tall. For the kid part, she stuffed a pair of old footy pajamas and stuck it to the alien body with alien arms holding onto the body, and there was a hole in the alien body so my head was just above the kid body (I hope I explained it well). It was really creative, and I'll always remember that as my best costume. :)

Well, my favorite Halloween costume was Minnie Mouse. I'm not sure it was the best looking one. That probably went to my Genie costume. All my costumes were pretty good though. I won contests every year (as did my brother) with them when I was a kid. And people we knew were always looking forward to what we would be wearing next. My mom made all our costumes. And she always did such a great job. She's so creative.

Best costume I've ever seen....that's a tough one!!!!! Ok, I have two! Once my friend dressed up like a bunch of grapes..she blew up a bunch of purple balloons about half way, attached them to a purple tank top and worse a sparkley purple/silvery mini skirt and put curled up ribbons in her hair...she actually made it look really cute and fashionable! Then the other one would have to be when my cousin went as a bag of leaves when he was in pre-school....my aunt put him in a sweat shirt and pants (fall colored), then took a clear bag, put his legs and arms through it, put a bunch of leaves inside and attached it at his sweatshirt collar. Then she painted some leaves on his cheeks...he looked so freakin cute!!!

I really, really want that painting.

Now that that's out of the way - the best Halloween Costume I ever had was probably when I was 4 and dressed up as Oscar the Grouch. My dad made me a trash can out of foam rubber that he stapled into a cylinder, then spray-painted gray with L-shaped black lines (to make it look corrugated). We held it up by suspenders, which meant I couldn't walk very well or sit down. My mom made me a trash-can hat, and then I wore a green shirt and green facepaint - and whenever my parents would say "OSCAR FACE!" I'd scrunch my face up and try to look menacing (pretty hard for a 4 year old - they tell me they just kept laughing, which made me scrunch up my face even more). I do remember, though, that my favorite thing was to curl down into the can so that my hat rested on top and then "burst out" of it.

... pretty sure I fell over a bunch of times.

The best costume I've ever seen was a little girl who was a bumblebee. She took a pillowcase and made black stripes with a sharpie and yellow stripes with a highlighter. It didn't look great, but you could tell she spent so much time on it and had so much pride wearing it.
Thanks for the chance!

One of my favorite costumes I've seen had to be a young little boy dressed up as Harry Potter and he was holding the leash to his dog who was wearing an extra two-head costume so he looked like Fluffy! It was adorable!
I also saw a dachshund dressed up like a hot dog with two buns on each side of him. It was adorable to see.
